We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Lead Field Supervisor who is passionate about innovation and eager to help shape the future of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). This role presents an exciting opportunity for a candidate with hands-on experience in fiber and data cabling installation, CCTV programming and installation, project management skills, and a strong desire to contribute to the growth and development of our company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and successfully managing projects from concept to completion, as well as the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage telecommunications projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise in fiber optic and data cabling installation, including planning, installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Program and install CCTV systems, including camera configuration, network setup, and integration with other security systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative ICT solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and industry trends.
- Utilize technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute telecommunications infrastructure installations and upgrades.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in telecommunications and ICT, and make recommendations for their integration into our business operations.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers, troubleshooting issues and resolving complex problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading teams and managing telecommunications projects from concept to completion.
- Hands-on experience with fiber optic and data cabling installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in programming and installing CCTV systems, including camera setup and network configuration.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong IT skills, with experience in networking, IP addressing, and basic server administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the Telecommunications industry
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools for project management and documentation.
